As a new client, I was really pleasantly surprised with the down-to-earth but warm and friendly attitude of everyone at the clinic. My pup got the care and attention he needs even though he's terrified of all vets and we're both feeling 100 times better. Plus, the talked through pricing in a reasonable and guilt-free manner which I also really appreciated! Highly recommended!

All the Staff, techs, and Doctors there are Great!!! They provide exceptional service and friendly visits like you've been with them for years. I love going there with my Dog, their doctors know best and are so helpful and nice. I wouldn't choose any other place to go to. I'd recommend them as A vet for your pets.

We take our 7 year old dog to Indian Tree. I like the fact they are open 7 days a week. It seems like emergencies happen over the weekend. We have always been able to get an appointment with no problem. The staff is always nice and helpful. Our dog is very nervous going and they take good care of him and understand his anxiety issues. It is a bit pricey, but well worth it.

This is a very clean top of th...

This is a very clean top of the line vet office. They give good care and are very proffesional. But , they are extremely expensive and this is not a detrimental factor neccessarily. However on Feb. 13th Tues. we had an emergency with our 8 year old Rag Doll cat. The cat was very ill and dehyradeted. We took the cat in and were told by Dr. on duty that the cat was in alot of pain and needed test.

I told the vet the cat had a history of kidney issues and asked if they had the test from the old vet. I was told yes but first they wanted to do x-rays to make sure the cat was not having a cancer tumor issue. I told the vet i wanted to know how much and was told $200 for x-rays...I then argued with the vet for fifteen min saying i want the blood work done first to see where the kidney functions are...the vet told me that he needed to rule out tumor first...I told the vet the cat has a tumor we cant' afford to treat it so I just want to see if the kidneys are messing up again...Cuz this is the least expensive route to go and if they are we can go from there

The vet kept telling me how he wanted to do the tumor testing first...looking for cancer etc......I was like the cat has kidney issues,,,Finally after what I felt was extreme pressure I agreeded to x-rays...I get a call later that day saying the cat does not have a tumor in the stomach but has an infected kidney ...and now the vet want an utra sound...needless to say after $700 in an x-ray and ultra sound they finally run blood work for $200...start the cat on IV antibiotics and keep the cat for three days...My bill is about $2500 to date...I had to bring the cat home on Thursday night as I could not afford the IV hospitaization any longer...

The cat is home and we are feeding it water with an eye dropper.....If I had not been talked into the extra x-rays and ultra sound when i said please just do a blood pannel now...I would have been able to keep the cat in a few extra days...

The owner did give us a 20 percent disount after the intial $1400 on a bill that was $760( we also had to take the cat to an overnight place on Tues. night , another $300) so this was some relief but when I looked at our total bill it was just sickening that I felt I was pressured into the x-rays and ultra sound...

The medications here also seem to be almost twice as expensive as another vet I called ....The women vets are cool but the one vet , who is on staff...I felt like he was did a high pressure sell to get the bill racked up...

I am also concerned as to why I was not told the ultra sound was going to be $440 before it was performed....So since I had a credit card on file it was just like a free for all...

They know what they are doing but if you are not able to afford a huge bill you better go some where else as you will walk out of here with some big money being spent on things that you do not see an estimate for...

Think Twice -

Indian Tree used to focus on client service and animal health. Since the change in management to Dr Rose Javar in January of 2008, more than 15 employees have been fired or resigned. Their reason: inability to tolerate the changes in the way the new management did business. Focus is now on making more money, hiring friends and relatives, and pushing people out who don't belong in the "new" vision. I am horribly disappointed in the way people who were employees for up to ten years were told to adjust to the changes or leave. With the current way of thinking, they chose to leave, or were told to leave - and have moved on to better places. Investigate for yourself the number of new people at this veterinary hospital, and to ask yourself "why"? Is this what you want for your pet? Speak with former and current clients, as well. Then make the decision that you feel is appropriate.
