Dr Gilbey was my doctor for several years. The receptionist was sooooo rude to me, too many times. The last time was the straw that broke the camels back. I will no longer be a patient at that office. There are too many good doctors that can afford to hire good people to work for them. She acts like she's tired all the time and too rude for me! I don't need to put up with this person again! She sticks her nose in the air when you ask a simple question. Either on the phone or in person this lady does not know how to talk to people!!! Very Unprofessional and RUDE

Good communication skills, not patronizing or arrogant, actually let ME tell HIM what was going on in my body. He was personally very helpful with with writing me a note for my employer to help get me workplace accomodations for chronic lung condition. Worked me into their schedule with help from my doctor's office, during a major health crisis, and have been very helpful since as a new patient dealing with trying to stabilize severe asthma.

Dr. Bartek was a good doctor, but the receptionist I dealt with was extremely rude. They evidently rescheduled my last appointment without ever letting me know. I drove down to South Austin and when I said I was there for my appointment, the receptionist told me that I didn't have an appointment because Dr. Bartek wasn't there. Then she checked and said that they'd rescheduled it. I said that it would have been nice if they would have let me know that. she just shrugged. A simple apology for the major inconvenience would have gone a long way with me, but this rude person couldn't be bothered. I understand that somebody made a human error in not contacting me about moving my appointment, but I don't understand the receptionist's bad manners and poor attitude.
