The Insurance Division is responsible for the supervision and regulation of the insurance industry in the state of Hawaii. It helps in monitoring the activities of insurance companies. The division provides health and captive insurance services. The Insurance Division offers various programs for the prevention, investigation and prosecution of commercial frauds. The division maintains a licensing branch that is responsible for processing, amending and terminating appointments between an insurance company and producer. The Insurance Division is located in Honolulu. It is a part of the Department of Commerce & Consumer Affairs, which provides a range of business registration and investment services.
