Provided by YP.comI did my laser hair removal with Sona after having a terrible experience at another med spa and I LOVED IT!!! They were up front about the process, their facility is clean and very upscale and the staff is wonderful! Every time I had a session done, I was with a nurse that took the time to answer my questions and give me a thorough treatment. If you are thinking about having laser hair removal done, call them!!! You will not regret it!

Provided by YP.comI spent $5K with Sona Medspa when they were advertising their services as "permanent" hair removal. After many months of treatments (which are quite uncomfortable), I and still have to shave every day. Such a disappointment! After my experience with them, I cannot trust that any of their other services would be any more effective.

Provided by YP.comI have been going to the Galleria location for several years. I started w/a laser hair removal package which they said I was a perfect candidate with having light skin and dark hair. The first time I went I was very pampered and felt they were living up to their spa name. The nurse applied the topical anesthetic and put me in a very relaxing room w/teas & lemon water while the medication took effect. Sona then apparently decided this cut into their profit margin too much and did away w/the topical and let me tell you that laser stings without it. Ouch! Since I was one of their first clients during their Grand Opening they gave me a 5 year guarantee on the laser - allegedly. The bikini area is still bare, but the underarm hair has always grown back and they will not honor their guarantee. They want me to pay for any further treatments. They even pulled a bait & switch w/the nurses. They seem to have a high turnover w/the employees. I asked for my usual nurse Deanna and I was told there was no Deanna, did I mean Brianna? We went back & forth on this while the receptionist convinced me I just had her name wrong which really confused me as the nurse had never corrected me for calling her the wrong name. When I got there the nurse Brianna was indeed a different person. I just went in for botox and lip enhancement and the nurse injected the botox in the wrong spot and three days later my lips look the same as when I went in except for the bruising which could have been avoided if they had left me an appt.reminder on my machine or email along with a reminder to take the arnica tabs. Apparently the lip injection is immediately absorbed by some people. I have still have my forehead wrinkle since the nurse injected the wrong spot. Sona refuses to correct the problem unless I pay for it and accused me of trying to get free service. Save your money and go elsewhere. This place has poor customer service, but they are great at pushing products for sale.
I had 2 levulon treatment with 3 microdermabrasions packet deal for my rosacea....found out later that I could have purchased 1 session at a time and saved $500. They need to train employees to provide same service. The tech did a much better job on the 2nd visit then the tech on the 1st visit. But all in all the out come of my sessions was GREAT!!! HUGE difference all over face except for my nose.
