Really one of my favorite vets I've been to over my many years of owning pets. A "mom and pop" , not a chain like VCA, they are not exactly low cost but still less expensive than many. I feel like you can trust him to be thoughtful , caring , calm and good at what he does.

We had to have our cat seen asap because he had all but stopped eating and drinking and we were planning a trip to Canada that weekend. Dr. Engstrom did an exam and was very good in ruling out what the problem was not. A blood draw was indicated to find out the specific cause with the results to be given the next day. The kitty was sufferring from a high fever from an infection. With everything - the exam, IV fluids, blood draw and overnight results, antibiotics, nutritive supplement and flea treatment, we were out less than $200 and the cat showed improvement right away. Our neighbor was able to give the antibiotics while we were away. This was such a big relief to us and we were very satisfied.

I had a very sick new puppy that I had taken to another vet and they wouldn't treat the problems just wanted me to buy their endorsed dog food and flea meds. So I asked around and was refered to Animal Clinic of Kent by 4 different people. I was not disappointed. The vet got us right in, got right down to business, and got my little puppy treated for her illness right away. Today she is thriving. This is a wonderful veterinary clinic.
