General Info
The physicians and staff of Gastro One specialize in the treatment of all gastrointestinal disorders, including disorders of the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine (colon), rectum, liver, gallbladder and pancreas. Nutritional problems such as weight loss and malabsorption are also within the scope of our practice. Among the more common conditions we diagnose and treat are: esophagitis/GERD, esophageal strictures, gastric and duodenal ulcers, gallbladder attacks, pancreatitis, celiac disease, colitis of all types, Crohn's disease, irritable bowel syndrome, hepatitis, fatty liver and gastrointestinal cancers. Among the more common symptoms we see and evaluate are: heartburn and reflux, painful swallowing, difficulty swallowing, chest pain, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, change in bowel habit, abdominal swelling, blood in the stool, jaundice, low blood count, weight loss and abnormal liver tests.
