I've been going to this family for quite some time now and would not go anywhere else. They are extremely friendly, professional and empathetic when taking care of your pets. They treat them as if they are their own pets and are always conscientious of your feelings. I recently took my dog in for surgery unfortunately he didn't make it through the night. Dr. Bramley's bedside manner is outstounding and was so empathetic with what I was going through, he in turn took care of me. If you love your pets as if they are your children, this is the place to go.

Horrible

If I could give zero stars I would. Mel Bramley was very rude and made a very poor judgement call that resulted in a scared cat scrambling all over the room.

I was told over the phone that they accept feral cat patients. I have a neutered male feral that is very friendly with me, I pet him everyday, but he is still feral with other people.

Mel Bramely, the Senior of the father- son duo, was rude from the very beginning. He immediately started with saying that basically it's not worth it to save, feed, home, or try to medically treat a feral cat. Basically saying they are better off dead, or sick, or starving. "What's there to do with a sick feral?" he said. I said "Help them." Why are you even a Vet if you care that little for the homeless animals that we humans ensured exist in the first place?

After he finally finished admonishing me for saving this cat, he gave a look at the cat's eye (the reason I brought him in). He gave his best guess at what the problem could be but went on for awhile about not being able to really tell for sure because he wouldn't be able to handle the cat without anesthetizing him. Then out of nowhere he goes and opens the cage door and puts his hand inside, when the cat went for his hand he pulled back and left the door open and the cat got out and went crazy. I had him leave the room so I could deal with getting the cat back inside the cage. The cat was climbing the walls in terror. I was so upset, I ended up in tears. With the help of my mom who was with me in the room, we managed to get him to go back inside the cage with minimal scratches to us both. I left without the antibiotic eye drops and the receptionist let us leave without paying for the appointment. I care deeply about my animals' emotional well being and this was a traumatic experience for this cat and very much for me as well. I will never be coming here again, whether house cat or feral cat.

We have been with this family for 27 years and I would not take my animals anywhere else. They are straight forward, no frills and reasonably priced. They are caring and love what they do and they are in the business for the animals.

I've been using this family of vets for 35+ years. They are very caring, give you all the options, and their charges are very reasonable. This is not a boutique vet office, they are very straight forward with no frills. But I don't trust anyone else with the care of my small animals.

Let me tell you why I like this Veterinarian Clinic

When my dog is sick I want to get him to the Vet fast. I don't want to call for an appointment and be told I have to wait days or weeks to see a Doctor. This clinic is first come-first serve. Get in line early and you won't have to wait for long. Dr Dan Bramley is very knowledgeable, thorough and sensitive to your pet's needs. And he doesn't push drugs or procedures that aren't necessary. I was amazed when my dog needed several different medications and he called in a prescription for them to a drugstore that provides medications for pets! Most Vet clinics have their own supply of medication that they sell to you at exorbitant prices. Instead I got the drugs at a very reasonable price. I don't know why this practice isn't more common since most of the drugs animals use are also commonly used by people, just in different strengths. This is an older clinic but clean and efficiently run. It may not look like a 5 star clinic to some people but the care they give your pet is definitely 5 star, and that's what is important to me. I'll forgo the overstuffed cushions for reasonable prices and, the icing on the cake, the staff is friendly. That's nice for a change.

I wouldn't take my dogs anypla...

I wouldn't take my dogs anyplace else! Dr. Bramley (both of them) are very caring and treat your pets as their own. I have had nothing but great experiences here and my grandma has been coming here since they opened years ago and keeps coming back to this day. I would highly reccomend this vet to anyone, their prices are beyond reasonable and they are very convienent if you need to make an emergency visit. They removed a tumor on my dog and charged me almost $700 less than other vets, to me it's a no brainer why they are still in business and have a loyal clientele.

Our new vet

Our first visit to Dr. Dan Bramley was not a happy one, but only because we chose to put our sweet princess to sleep. Dr Dan was so compassionate and concerned not only with our dog but also with us. I was fighting back my tears and he even reached out and hugged me. I had my dog over 10 years and she was very much a part of the family. In her 10 years she has seen many vets, never has one been as wonderful as Dr Dan was. Words can not even begin to describe how wonderful he was. He took the time to answer all of our questions even after she was gone. It is not easy to find a vet these days that actually seems to be in their career for the animals, but this vet IS. I STRONGLY recommend him. We will be making him our primary vet for our other 3 dogs after this experience.

Wonderful Veterinarian. Would Highly Recomend.

Both Dr. Bramleys are excellent vets who care for both the animals and their owners. They are no-nonsense docs who will tell it like it is and not try and talk you into a bunch of futile treatments and tests. Yet their quality of care is above reproach. From treatment of my Westie's allergies, to treating my cat's ear mites, to euthanizing my old and ailing Rottie, they have always done exactly what was needed. No more, no less. I will continue to use this clinic as long as they are open.

Wonderful, Caring Veteranarians

My pets have been going to Dan Bramley for 9 years. He's a wonderful vet and offers reasonable prices. His father, who used to own the practice and now works for the son, is just as caring. They are no-nonsense people who tell it like it is, they don't offer a bunch of tests and treatments when they know they are futile. I will continue to take all my animals there for as long as the practice is open.

THe most best vet Ive ever had.

This vet has taken care of all our dogs and cats, Did surgery on our 3 months old kitten had a fracture (price was great for the surgery, xray, overnight stay, office visit) within a couple weeks, she was climbing over lots of things with no pain and still with a cast on. Saved our dog, our dog had got shot and the bullet went through 6 layers of intestine. She lived for another 6 Happy healthy years before we had to put her down which we went to him and we had her cremated.I will always go to this vet until he retires.

A great vets office!!

I heard of Eastside Animal Hospital from a family member who has taken her pets there for years. I now take all of my pets to dr Bramley. He has performed surgeries, teeth cleanings and also has assisted me with 2wk old kittens with respiratory issues. This is a wonderful vet clinic, very affordable and friendly compassionate staff. I will continue to take my pets here as long as he is in business and as long as I am a pet owner! Thank you to both Dr Bramley's.

Great Vet care by JD

I have taken my pets to Eastside Animal Hospital for several years now and have been completely satisfied with their care. I started with the senior and now the son. I will keep taking my animals to them for the great care and hospitality that they offer.

Good, honest people

Since the early 70's the East Side Animal Hospital has taken care of all of our pets. Although most of my experience is with the senior Dr. Bramley (Mel), his son Dan seems to be following in the footsteps of his father. Good, honest care with an emphisis on sensible price and compasionate attention.

Best Vet

All my experiences with Dr. Bramley have been top quality and affordable. He has taken care of a whole family of dogs and a rescue for us. His method is the best I have ever seen in a vet. He tells you all your options and then he is objective about your decision and supports it. He does not rack up possible charges and if you have a budget problem he will let you know how your options are affected. He is informative and is considerate. Even though I have moved a distance away I still make the drive even with the gas prices. Thank you Dr. Bramley for offering animal care that no other Vet. will offer. I like your method of dealing with your clients and your prices have made it possible for me to own a dog. Please keep your business open.

THE EAST SIDE ANIMAL HOSPITAL IN MESA, ARIZONA KILLED MY DOG

Please, please, if you have a pet, pleaes do not take it to see Dr Bramley at the East Side Animal Hospital in mesa. I had a beautiful, wonderful, loving english springer spaniel who saw Dr. Bramley for an ear surgery he advertised would solve all of her ear infection problems. He butchered her ears. We took her to another vet to try and get them fixed and that vet told us that her ears were the most mangled thing he has ever seen, and he could not believe a licensed vet would do that. He said that her ears were so badly infected that it was going to kill her after spreading to her brain. He said our only option was to put her down. So yesterday, my love and baby was put down. I hope she is in heaven now and no longer has any pain. It is now my ultimate goal to get Dr. Bramleys license revoked. He should not go near ANY any. He is an evil man who killed my wonderful little girl. FIND A NEW VET! Your animals life depends on it
