I'm still sitting in the booth writing this because I couldn't wait to say how wonderful this place is! I have had the worst luck in finding good seafood in charleston sc and I stopped here by chance and I am so glad I did!!! I had a shrimp blt and a side salad and my mother had the shrimp n grits. Everything was amazing! U can actually taste the freshness in the vegetables and the shrimp. Excellent place I can't say enough about it!

Love, love, love their She Crab Soup. Is there anything better than great food while looking at the ocean? My fiance and I have eaten there every trip to Charleston and have never been disappointed. I have tried many different menu options and have alway been pleased.

I like the menu and the dishes presented at my table looked superb.



We did receive a barely warm/very thick bowl of She Crab Soup. After sending it back (less than two minutes after receiving it) we got our entrees before the soup. We cancelled the soup...who wants to have their appetizer after starting the entree?



As I said, the dishes (specifically our entrees) looked outstanding. The downfall is that there was absolutely no seasoning in our dishes...zero. Do you know how horrible pasta noodles and "sauteed" mushrooms taste with no salt? It wasn't good...not by a long shot. Pretty, yes...good, no.



Hopefully Locklear's will get some better cooks in the near future.
