Carolyn A.02/26/2015Edit Dr. Jairo is very good..my cat Lacey got spaded on tues and I picked her up today.... When I brought her Home she went to sleep Later when she woke up how heartbeat was really fast and she kept on moving around so I called Dr. Jaio and he calmed me down and he explained to me why she was feeling that way and to use the medication that they gave me for her and she will be alright well that helps a lot she is sleeping right now she seems to be comfortable .... westchester animal hospital staff were also very helpful. I have read all of the reviews and I decided to go to him and I am so glad that I did I have two of the kittens that I will be taking to him I love the staff the hospital is so clean everybody is so friendly and they love animals and I think that is really important... when you take your pet who is a part of your family to a place where you feel comfortable and the staff are friendly and helpful and they love animals And the place is clean and you know you are at the right place...my cat has been there twice and they have been very good to her and that's all that matters to me is that when I take my lacy someplace that they are nice and gentle to hot and so far I am happy Dr. Jaio is very nice and he makes his self available to you at all hours of the night that's good for me so I will continue to take my animals there

I made reservations for my cat to board at the Westchester Animal Hospital for a week during the Thanksgiving holiday. I went to pick him up and came home with him let him out of his kennel and he had a horrible horrible smell of urine and feces. I had to give him two baths and the smell and stinch is still embedded in his coat. I give this place 1 star and that's for at least feeding him. It turns out that the people who was entrusted with my cat were not even there during the holiday week. They neglected to mention that my cat would be watched by a care giver who lives there on the premises. I called the animal hospital back and asked them did my cat share a cage with other cats ? They replied no but they can not explain to me why he stinks the way he does. I now have to go purchase a shampoo for cats that will be more effective and hopefully erase the lingering unpleasant odor that is still embedded into my cat coat. He will never board there again I'll leave it to the BBB.
