The Mrs and I love Giordano's ...

The Mrs and I love Giordano's deep dish pizza (the spinach, especially). Although not our favorite deep dish, it ranks near the top. The parking at this location is pretty convenient and the staff has always been courteous. The deep dish pizzas take a long time to make (as is the case of all deep dish, I think) so it's a good thing they have an assortment of appetizers. The mozarella sticks are some of my favs here.

The thin crust pizza is also decent here, but there are definitely other places I like better.

The price is on the expensive side, which keeps Giordano's from getting five stars but if you've never been to Giordano's I'm sure you'll like it.

One last thing that's cool is that you can order a pizza online and have it shipped elsewhere (frozen). While I've never tasted a frozen one, friends who I have had them shipped to said the pizza tasted awesome.

Ripping Off Families

One of the few restaurants downtown Naperville that isn't usually crowded. Now we know why. Their prices for children are outlandish. They want $7.00 for a childs chicken nugget meal, and that doesn't include milk! But they don't really tell you that, it's very vague on the menu. And, the manager will be very rude if you protest. They treat their employees poorly, which is why they are frequently in need of help. They charged a total of $8.45 for a four years olds meal!! It cost more than my caprese salad and cup of soup.

I highly recommend Lou Malnati's which is right around the corner. They have good service, excellent food and reasonable prices, including the kids.
