My experience with Steven Kohnle agency in Olathe Kansas was a living nightmare. I began to get new quotes for 2 autos after a divorce where I was insuring 4 autos. I began on April 7, 2017 for a policy that was to end on June 3, 2017. Calls were not returned, quotes were made for 3 vehicles vs. 1, subsequent quotes were made but bills were $800 more per 6 months than quoted and finally Farmers took over $1500 out of my bank account without notification. The final quote was over $2500 per 6 months for 2 vehicles when I paid $just over $1800 for 4 vehicles in Dec. of 2016. I cancelled all of my insurance including vehicles, boat, and home and went to another group where I paid ~$1300 for all three policies. It is now almost 1 month later and I still have not been credited for what was taken from my account electronically and the agency will not answer my calls inquiring. The lack of professionalism and customer care is appalling. During the Kansas City Corporate Challenge this agency was marketing their agency with heavy promotion. The trailer and set up was impressive and expensive looking; however, the real story is that the agency does take care of business. If this agency if a representation of Farmers Insurance is a disaster. And let it be known that I rarely write a review this scathing about a business. But this experience deserves for all to know.
