I am bi-racial, African American and Caucasian. So my hair was extremely curly, frizzy, and just very hard and time consuming to manage. The Japanese treatment takes a while but it is worth it if you want straight but do not want to use hot irons daily. Kim worked on my head and turned a curly, tangle, unkempt mop, that barely passed my shoulder; into shiny, very straight and smooth hair. It used to seem like I had more hair because of the curls and now my ponytail is a small fraction of the size that it was, it barely passed my shoulders but now it reaches the middle of my back. If you are considering this treatment, Kim is really amazing at her work. Even my hair cut looks great. I have never been fully satisfied leaving a salon until now. I love my new hair!
