Provided by YP.comNot many yelpers wrote reviews in Freeport... so we decided to walk around. There's a lot of Irish Pubs and Italian restaurants around. We we're looking for something more casual because we had just flown into town.
This was a cute little place with a good menu. I had their "famous" steak burger, which I thought was just alright. But for $8 which included the fries, I thought it was very good.
My girlie had the crab salad which was a lot of lump crab meat. Very good.
The chowder was a bit on the watery side, but not bad. The chili is much better.
If you like brews check out the local brew, Allagheny White Ale... it's like a Hefenweizen, served with a lemon too.

Provided by YP.comI just moved to Portland and my family came to visit for a weekend. We ordered simple sandwiches and had some beers during our hour plus wait. We are very patient people so waited until over an hour to inquire about our food. Our server told us there was a big party in front of us and they had a small kitchen. A few minutes later he was back with our food and everything was lukewarm at best. The small kitchen was not the problem, he had clearly forgotten about our food. He offered to reheat everything for us and we said no. He brought over a manager and she ALSO offered to reheat our food. My dad said no. He said we would just pay for our drinks and leave. It took them a while to get us our check for just the drinks. When he went to talk to management she said "what more could we have done" to which he replied "cook us new food." She said "well you should have asked for that then." They did not take anything off our bill and we did not leave them a tip. Overall they do not know how to treat customers. If you want us to pay you need to give us something worth paying for. We went to GILBERT'S CHOWDER HOUSE from there and got AMAZING and quick service and food. We were SO hungry. Skip Dry Dock and head to this shoreline hot spot!
