Techs are nice,informative and helpful. But don't expect to get an appointment for about 10 days at least.
Can you go that long without a major appliance? Also,if your refrigerator dies take several pictures of the contents or they will resist paying for spoiled food.
It's too expensive but my experience over the last 40 years has been major appliances are less durable and the coverage is prudent.
Check with your homeowners or renters insurance agent. They may know about
a better deal.
