The zipper of my beloved snowmobile coat broke at the end of last winter. I went to another shop to get a quote for repair. They wanted to replace the whole zipper and charge better than $60. Decided to hold off. Took my coat to Park Ridge today, the repair man took my coat for 5 minutes and came back with it fixed! A simple replacement of the top zipper pull. My town's shoe repair business closed and as of yet hasn't reopened. I was in Sioux Falls for a concert and asked them if they could put a new tip on the heel of a shoe and sew a strap loop back on my bag. They did both while I waited and charged a totally reasonable rate. I thank them for their service. I can't even tell they opened up the seam on my $300 Brahmin bag. Please note they may NOT be able to give you same day service! It depends on the work involved and they are crazy busy. But they do offer to mail your item to you. They perform a service that is really a dying out art form!

I had a pair of custom made sting-ray boots repaired two years ago, as there was a cut in the leather. The repair is still holding while the sting-ray leather is falling apart. Two things learned here: Sting-ray is not as tuff as advertised and this shop does excellent repair work.Also, the resole and reheel they did on my elephant skin boots is holding up as good or better than the approximately 10 times, these have been resoled.I'm limited to five stars here, but would give them more if I could.
