I was going to try this place as I like their special on a pedicure. It looked like a great deal until I read these reviews. What a bummer! Guess I will look elsewhere.

I used to get my hair cut by Carmelita at Monkey Bizness on a regular basis. She did a great job with cut and color, but at each appointment she would run farther and farther behind. She would tell me to go check out some of the shops in the complex they're in while she finished up. Once I waited 40 minutes! She didn't show up for our last appointment and no one could supposedly get ahold of her. She didn't bother to call me to let me know she was running late or wasn't coming in, which was a big waste of my time and gas, not to mention it was storming like crazy that morning. She never bothered to call me back to apologize or to reschedule, so needless to say I found someone else who is a lot more considerate and on time.

I had a hard time creating an appointment with Linda. She was very rude with me on the phone and told me I wouldn't understand this industry because I don't work there. I tried to talk to the manager but before he returned my call Linda apparently created a fake and fraudulent "nasty letter" sent from me along with flowers to the salon. The owner Richard wouldn't even listen to my side of the story assuming to believe his crazy employee because he had a "note in my writing". I never met him or went to this place so HOW does he know my handwriting. Absolutely insane. I wouldn't feel safe going to this salon and plan to report this. It's absolute slander. Stay away!

The haircuts are good. The facility is clean and good for a salon but as for calling it a spa I would say that is just an add-on service for them, not a specialized spa.
