Lone Star Café is located on the street level overlooking the beautiful San Antonio Riverwalk. Lone Star was established in 1981 to bring a taste of Texas to our locals and tourists that head downtown to dine at the river. The restaurant features, Texas favorites like Burgers, Hand Cut Steaks, and Chicken Fried Steak with hearty Gravy. Lone Star Café has the largest balcony overlooking the river, as well as indoor seating.

BEST!!!! Music & singer in Texas!Sings old and new country as wellas classic. Dresses like a pro so i guess he must be , when he walks into a room or the patio you can just feel the difference .The greatest voice I've have ever heard without having topay 800.00 to watch and listen to.A wonderful!!!! entertainer ... We all are from Dallas Tx. and we areready to fly back there San Antonioto listen to him AGAIN in a couple ofweeks!!!!!...
Been to the Lone Star a few times over the years. It has been fairly good in the past. But, this time was a disapointment. My wife's steak was inedible. Tough and full of gristle. My ribs were OK other than beeing 25 percent fat and and 30 percent overpriced. Waiter never came back to see how we were enjoying our meal. we won't be back. We have had much better meals at other places for a lot less money. The Riverwalk atmosphere isn't worth the extra cost.
