MJ Septic has the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. Their field employees are competent, but they won't ring your doorbell to let you know as they are coming or going (they do call the day prior...which is nice, but it's common courtesy to announce yourself upon arrival/departure). My main problem is with their office staff. The person 'Jennifer' who answers the phones is the very rude. Her un-professionalism is out of control. I just tried to cancel my service with MJ Septic and she kept sending me to a line that no one picked up and didn't allow for voicemail messages. I called twice with the same results, then when I tried a third time, she must have blocked my number or something because the call wouldn't go through. I simply wanted her to take a message -- you would think that would be nothing out of the normal. Very, very rude person. I remember talking to her previously about a problem I had with my septic tank and she was very condescending and arrogant. I asked her if someone could come out to help fix a line that got broken during a construction project and she basically scolded me about how the equipment shouldn't have gone over the pipes. I wasn't trying to have MJ Septic fix the problem for free or anything...I was simply trying to get them to come out to fix it. I have no idea how they stay in business with customer-facing employees that have such an attitude. Absolutely worst experience. I highly do NOT recommend this company. Additionally, they are very over-priced.

After using mj septic every service I’m getting charged for new stone diffuser, telling me my pump is about to go out when it was just replaced etc. My last contracted service company replaced diffusers maybe every other visit, sometimes just let me rinse it off in the sink and reuse it. They don’t do advance scheduling, just call when they’ll be in the area and if it doesn’t work you have to reschedule with them. Not impressed with service or attitudes, won’t be using them much longer.

I highly recommend this company. They are prompt, professional and knowledgeable. The technician explained everything to me and was very helpful. Great company.

I called them to schedule a clean out between our septic system and our home. They came out and quoted $350 to do the service so we scheduled it. First problem was they didn't show up on time. Tried calling several times with no response. They showed up later that day and they called me to tell me they didn't install what I hired them to. I asked why and he said he didn't know and would call me back later. I tried calling him again with no response. The following day, someone from the office called me and said I owed $175 for an inspection. I told her I didn't order an inspection but I needed to know why they didn't install the clean out. They would not release that information until I gave them $175 for the inspection I didn't order. I moved on and hired another company.

Weeks later I found they reported me to bexar county public works for a faulty septic system.

Very shady service here. Do not hire them.

We called MJ to come to our home and pump out our septic system. This company had very good reviews from our Timberwood Park Nextdoor neighbors. Sure enough, they were very prompt, on time and explained everything to us before they started the work. We had never lived where we had a storage tank or septic system so we didn't know what to expect. Stephanie covered everything very well over the phone and also what the costs could be or would be. Our tech came out and since we had the old type of system he had to spend some time trying to locate the entry to the tank. He was very patient and really seemed to know what he was doing. All I can say is this company did what they said they would do. They were very customer friendly, they arrived early, they maintained accurate readings, and their equipment looked to be " remarkable clean ", a trait that means allot to me. They care about image in a business where this could be secondary. They also have a discount for our neighborhood which was nice. Yes we will call them again.

GREAT SERVICE!! Above and beyond the norm. I called them for septic pumping and they arrived right on time the next day and pumped till their tank was full, returned within 2 hrs and completed the job. I asked if they could install a riser to tank, and within 2 hrs another gentleman returned and installed it. Very prompt and courteous.

MJ Central Texas Septic is who they used when we built our home in 2010. We have been very pleased with them. Its always nice to get more than one bid.

These guys respond quickly and their prices are pretty good too. I would recommend them!
