This doctor is so NOT the dentist you had as a kid!



I called Dr. Hazim's office yesterday as a new patient needing emergency attention (broken tooth - my former dentist wouldn't see me for two days!) Their response? 'Come on over, we'll make time for you right now.'



The facility is brand new, immaculately clean, and clearly designed for patient comfort and convenience. I'd rank myself a 5 or 6 on the dentist-anxiety scale (bad childhood experiences) - these folks go WAY out of their way to make their patients calm and comfortable. Every single person I met was smiling, friendly, polite and encouraging. Procedures were explained clearly in layman's terms (without talking down to me), along with clarifying video. Dr. Hazim answered all my questions patiently and thoroughly, making sure that I understood (and was comfortable with) every step of the process.



The procedure itself was PAIN FREE! Mind you, this a classic dental coward speaking. I'm talking a 0 on the 1-to-10 pain scale (I've had hair cuts that hurt worse). Everything in their power was done to insure that I was comfortable and pain-free throughout the procedure. They've even gone so far as to eliminate the humiliating Bill Cosby spit sink from the process!



Since my condition will require multiple visits to correct, on leaving I was presented with a treatment plan - a one-page document written in layman's English describing exactly what has been (and still needs to be) done, and exactly what that will cost. Proof that doctor's statements can in fact be written in intelligible English after all!



To say that I'm a huge fan of Dr. Peter Hazim and his entire staff would be a understatement!
