All Books is a quaint little shop that oozes uniqueness and originality. Mrs. Polly Henry really knows how to find rare and interesting books. So many great finds! I will certainly return!

All Books is a wonderfully charming book and yarn store with a lovely, thoughtful, and inquisitive old lady who runs the store that she pours her life and love into. It is heartwarming to see someone who takes such pride in what they do. I love going in and being asked by cute ole Mrs. Polly about how my life is going in general. It's not often that you find people who run businesses that are genuinely concerned with the lives of their customers. I will return to this store again and again and I recommend this store to those looking for a soul-nourishing experience. However, don't go into the store looking to be serviced, it's a serve yourself kind of store where Mrs. Polly kindly allows you to explore all of her books for yourself. She is a sure enough Southern woman with greatly apparent Southern values. She is a very honorable woman who will give you exactly what you pay for. Overall, All Books is a treasure in the heart of downtown that reminds you of the roots of where the city has come from.

Most unique store I've been to in ages!!! ITS GREAT! Yarn, books, spinners, knit and woven items, little dogs and a wonderfully, colorful Miss Polly. She's 84, madly informative, open minded and smart. Has her own political views ( most I dont share) but just steer her to fiber discussions and she will teach you anything. Dont be uptight about the state of the store (it's a messy treasure trove but if you are a neat freak, dont go). Talk to Miss Polly, pet her dogs and enjoy the wealth of information an 84 year old can bestow on you. I hope I can be half as sharp at 84 and not bother to waste my time on things or people that don't interest me! I would be in that shop every day if I lived close. Hope to visit again soon!

I went into this store with some books to be appraised, and I wanted to sell them. What she didn't tell me until after I agreed to the sell, was that the price is cut in half if you don't buy in the store. I thought that she was being dishonest.

Too bad there isn't a negative star because I'd give it negative 5 stars. The store had aisles that were blocked off with junk (broken dolls, bolts of cloth, etc) so you can't even walk down one aisle and back up the next. Books were mixed in with dying plants, broken knickknacks, and yarn. Just the floor alone should have a health inspection since it was littered with what looked like cat litter, papers with urine stains, and potting soil. We were in there for 15 minutes shifting through stuff. In that space of time, we were ignored, denied use of a bathroom, and never greeted. We did have a stack of books that we wanted to purchase, but after all that hassel, we just left. If you need a bookstore, go to Book Company. Everyone smiled and asked if we needed help along with explaining the setup. If All Books Inc wanted an ideal model, they should look to Book Company which has excellent service and better selection. Clearly, All Books Inc just doesn't care.

Watch your step around this store. Owner has a dog that she does not walk. That's right...she lets it go back into the stacks and do its business. I have been in three times and this has been the case. Needless to say I won't be going back. Be careful
