Citrus Endodontics is a full-service Endodontic practice providing root canal services for all ages with compassion and concern. We offer state-of-the-art digital radiography, micro-surgery, MTA retrograde filling material, and the Dentsply Pro-Taper root canal shaping and cleaning system in conjunction with the traditional warm gutta percha technique. Dr. Jerry Wiseman is a certified Endodontist. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, Dr. Wiseman received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Medical College of Virginia and his post doctorate residency in Endodontics from Boston University. Dr. Wiseman trained under the world-renowned Dr. Herbert Schilder, who was featured in the Disney movie Finding Nemo, at the Boston University Goldman School of Graduate Dentistry in Boston. While at the Boston University Goldman School of Graduate Dentistry, Dr. Wiseman completed his thesis entitled “Root Canal Morphology of the Mandibular Premolars with Multiple Canals.” His thesis is still used today to train endodontists. Dr. Wiseman is married and has five children. He is an active church member and has performed volunteer work for the Alachua Association Dental Unit.
