Do not go to this Emergency Room or see a man named Dr. James Wilson. He is arrogant, unprofessional, and not qualified to treat an emergency victim. My 21 year old grandson was attacked at a public parking lot without provocation and beaten severely about the head, face and neck. He had brain surgery several years ago so our concern was for his brain. This "doctor" did nothing but walk over to my grandson while the intake was being processed and offered him a discharge for possible concussion. No exam room, no x-rays and no CT scan or MRI had been done. We protested that no tests had been done and that we would like to have these tests.
"Dr. Wilson" refused saying the victim looked fine to him. We have photos, forensics, a police report and five witnesses to the attack. We left and went to Ocala Regional ER where all these services were offered without our asking for them.

I have been to this hospital many many times and I know people who work there but I never recommend going AT ALL. When I was there in 09 pregnant with my daughter and I kept throwing up. Couldn't keep anything
down. I showed up and they made me wait several
hours in the waiting room, eventually after triage I was brought back to a room and I told them I was pregnant. They did some blood test and after about an hr, they returned to tell me I wasnt pregnant and gave me an anti nausea medicine. Well lo and behold 5 months later I gave birth to a healthy baby girl at Shans in Gainsville because I was high risk due to my son being born with issues. I really believe they mixed up MY medical records with another patient. They could have seriously hurt my daughter or killed her. She is now a healthy intelligent 7 year old but that experience has made me leary of the doctors at that hell hole. I don't recommend that place at all.

I chose MRMC Audiology office in The Villages which was a big mistake. I was very pleased with the audiologist and receptionist and chose your facility because there is a hearing aid store on every corner of The Village and thought since this was associated with MRCC it was a good choice. Big mistake. I need someone to check my hearing aids and there is no one in that office at this time. I pd. $2000 for no help now. What do I do?

My son was admitted for 9 days for a respiratory problem. The nurses and staff were gentle and patient with a scared 2 year old. I hope we never have to go back, but if we do, I know that we will get the best treatment possible.

I've never been treated here but I have visited people and heard a lot about it as well as know people that work there and as far as hospitals go its supposed to be one of the best in Central Florida.

I found the map on the site very useful. I don't vist the hospital often and don't go by that way very often, so I don't remember which street to turn on. I also use the Yellow Pages to get the number to call for a room number of the person I am visiting. I haven't used the products and services link yet, but it's nice to have the option.
