My boyfriend and I walked in to look at engagement rings. We were not greeted the entire 15-20 minutes we were there. We were also not told anything like, "We'll be with you shortly". We felt completely invisible. The workers didn't even look at us the entire time we were there. I actually found a ring I wanted on the spot for about $50, so I waited around the display case, eyeing the sales associates, waiting for them to notice me. They never did. Again, I felt invisible. We were both dressed presentably (not that it should matter). After feeling like a lowly peasant that was never going to be acknowledged, I told my boyfriend we should leave. I won't be returning here again. Customers should never be made to feel that way. A simple greeting and reaffirming words that you will be with a customer shortly is ALL IT TAKES. Have some manners.

I've been relying on them for things like jewelry/watch repair without any regret for over 40 years. Nice people.

Took ring in to resize and it wasn't ready when they said it would be. Also, asked if they could give me a quote on having a ring custom made and 2 months later, still waiting to hear back. They even had someone else asking for that same design. Won't be using them again!

I've been going to this jeweler for 30 something yrs since they were located at Pasadena Plaza. Great work and the only one I would trust!

I am conflicted as I write this review as we have used Thomason's for many years. They are widely known in the pasadena area and we have always had a pleasant experience when purchasing jewelry such as class rings, ect. So naturally, when I needed my watch, a Raymond Weil serviced they were the first group I thought of. However, this is the third attempt at a repair in the last 12 months. The watch became irratic and was first diagnosed as having a bad battery on two seperate occasions. The last time I brought it in, it was diagnosed as needing to have the movement replaced. This was described by the sales person as a fairly typical exersize and one that should be completed in ~ two weeks. At this point Thomason's has had my watch for well over two months. The first time I went to pick it up, it did not work when the sales person handed it to me and it was explained that they would need to order another movement. I attempted to stop by this weekend but the store was closed as everyone went to market. To date, I have had zero calls from them to discuss repairs, inform me as to when it will be ready to pick up, ect. In conclusion, if you simpy want to buy a piece of jewelry you will most likely have a good experience, but if you need a full service jeweler, perhaps you should go elsewhere. I will never understand why otherwise good businesses take on work they are not qualified to perform. This only leads to fustrated customers who otherwise would remain loyal to you. If you cant do it, simply refer us to someone who can. Believe me, we appreciate the honesty and will come back!
