I’ve had two bad experiences now. Recently I had a 3pm appointment for fillings, I showed up 20 minutes early, and was still in the waiting room until 4:30pm. They finally called me back in the chair, took x-rays, and I sat for another hour. At 5:30, they come tell me it’s too late to get started on any fillings today, but they would do a quick cleaning. I told them I just had a cleaning at my home dentist, so I took off work, drove an hour to get there, and waited over 2.5 hours for basically nothing. And now I’m supposed to reschedule for the fillings. This was my second experience with them. The first one years ago, a filling they did was very rough and rigid and ended up chipping off. I had to pay another dentist to fix it. While I sat in the chair, I also listened to two of the young and seemingly uneducated assistants gossip very loudly about applying for other jobs. I’d rather pay out of pocket then deal with the rudeness, unprofessionalism, and extreme wait times at Dental Dreams.

HORRIBLE WORK, RUDE TECHNICIANS..THEY DID MORE HARM THAN GOOD. My daughter sat in chair for 3 hrs waiting for them to finish drilling & filling a cavity.. after them starting and leaving multiple times they let her sit in chair another 45 min. When she went to find someone they all ignored her...

Had to wait for what seemed like "forever" to get in to see the actual DENTIST; but once I did, she didn't perform any better (or worse) than any other Dentist.

Terrible!!! Took my money and never fixed my problem,, even argued the point with me!!! I would advice everybody to stay away, they don't know what they are doing and don't care!!!

Very very very poor communication...I am pregnant and had been here before when pregnant with this child and my insurance only covered 200$ couldn't afford cleaning of $800. However I went to er with excruciating toothache and figured I'd see if they can look at my mouth and see what's up however my letter was out of date and they wouldn't see me. They never stated this when I made my appointment. They need to clarify the policies before people waste they're time and money to see them unless they lower the prices

I wouldn't even give it one star. I went for a checkup. Appt at 10:30. I got there twenty minutes early...left well after three pm (!) The tech Ashley couldn't get my crags and kept doing them over and over, she called another tech in finally who could do it. They forgot I was there when I sat for over an hour to see the doctor. He came in and said my medical card would cover the cleaning...rushed through it and then left before he was done. I sat another hour waiting...then he comes back in. Says my teeth are fine. Leaves again and I hear him say "medical card" again then he says I need a cavity "re-done" and that I needed to schedule in two weeks. Tells me he needs to check something else then his assistant stepped back in and they talked about me like I wasn't even there... He went out again. There I sat. Again. I didn't complain at all throughout all of this. I just realized I would NEVER be back. They treated me like an inconvenience. I was nothing more than a number to them. Worst dentist I have ever been to.

Worst place ever!!! If you have a appointment, you still will be waiting 3+ hours!!! I will never go back!

Had a young female dentist in 2006-07. Went in to have minor cavities filled. During process she had forgotten to numb me and started to drill. Yes i felt the whole thing and more. When she finally apologized and realized what she had done. She quickly numbed me drawing up the right side of my face. She hit a nerve temporarily paralyzing my face. They put in temporary top caps said come back for permanent ones. Later never came,they never made it right. A few months later my teeth fell out. I no longer have front teeth as a result. No I'm never going back as i have been told by physician i can't due to a permanent disability anyways. Thanks to these people I'll have to have all teeth pulled when i am cleared to do so. I will be put completely under as i suffer severe anxiety from this horrible experience. Good luck to everyone who has suffered as nobody can do anything about it anyway.

I WENT ON 8/15/14 APPOINTMENT WAS AT 2:30 THEY CALLED ME BACK AT 4:40 WAS REDICULOUS CALLED BACK TODAY CUZ IM STILL HAVING PAIN AND WAITING TO HEAR IF THE PROCUDERE IMA HAVE IS APPOROVED STILL NO CALL BACK YET IF I CAN GET ANYTHING AND NONE OF THE ASSISTANTS KNOW HOW TO TAKE XRAYS TOOK THEM OVE AN HOUR TO TAKE XRAYS HATE THIS PLACE WITH PASSION

UNTRUSTWORTHY! Went there because on one my molar was giving me trouble. After an exam an d x-rays the dentist said he couldn't see anything wrong. He walked away to get something and I heard him ask one of the nurses, "does medicaid cover so and so." He came back and said I had 4 cavities and that the fillings in those teeth needed to be replaced. I felt iffy about it and paid to get a second opinion. I only had 1 very small cavity. I've been paying all my dental bills since, which is a pain since I'm disabled and I don't have a lot of money but I'm too scared to go there and they're the only ones who accept medicaid.

The one dentist there is a total quack. I went in to take care of a toothache. The only thing she took care of was wiping out all the benefits of my insurance. Then to top that off she literally tried to kill me. She removed 2 teeth and filled 2 which is the max my insurance would allow. With 4 tries she still missed the tooth causing the pain. She left bone fragments behind on one that she pulled. She also prescribed hydrocodone/aceta (pain killer) which everyone except her knows that it is a derivative of codeine which caused my last seizure and was on my list of drugs I am allergic to. But she swore it was in no way a form of codeine which it is. Thus except for her dumb luck she could have killed me, as unsupervised seizures can kill. If I could give them negative stars I would!!!!

I had great experience and great teeth cleanup. I would go back.

I haven't personally seen anyone at dental dreams but my sister had some major constructive work done there with dr dan and the results are amazing! I know a lot of people who have constructive work on their teeth and its obvious! my sisters teeth look like her real teeth and even people that have known her for years and don't know she had it done cant tell the difference from before her teeth all rotted out. they were terrible! after the work was done, she looks great! they look natural and they fit her mouth! and they really look like her teeth, the way they used to be. she was very happy with dr dan and im taking her advice and making an appointment with him myself. and ill let people know about my experience. maybe ill post before and after pictures and let people judge for themselves. if mine turn out like my sisters, everyone will be amazed!

I'm reading the reviews and it sounds like everyone is complaining about the typical dentist visit, hurry up and wait! I would like to walk into a dentist office or doctors office and get right in. but lets face it, that's not likely to happen anywhere! and if it did, I would be hesitant about seeing that dentist. why would a good dentist have an empty office?!? when it comes to my mouth, quality is worth waiting for. ill be sure not to make any other plans that day....... btw I only gave four stars for visual since I haven't experienced the wait and the busy unfriendly people who cant spot me in a big group and know that im the only person whose been waiting a long time...........

Took my 3 daughters to dental dreams they all needed fillings went back following Saturday waited 45 mins then another 2 hours for only 2 of them I finally had enough of watching my kids in horrible pain and said we are done I will. Reschedule for my youngest daughter.3 weeks later my oldest daughter who is 17 wakes up in pain from her teeth. Took my youngest back for two fillings waited another 45 mins then back in the chair another hour . Later that night my daughter came to me and said mom look my lip is big as I took a closer look I seen a huge white sore area on her inside lip in the morning her whole right side of face was puffy and lip swollen and area in her lip worse i took her to the ER the doc came in asked bout I told him about the fillings he asked where did u go I told him he said this is the second child in 48 hrs to show up here with the exact same issue ! He said I don't what they are doing but something is wrong there and was going to be calling them. I left and went to the car and called and left a message for the dr.ali who never even returned my call ! My poor 10year old is now walking around with a fat lip and ugly gross sore in her lip. I will never recommend or take my children back to this place worse thing ever my children are now scared of the dentist just plain ridicules something is not right there it should be this painful to get a simple filling nor should u end up in the ER.

I took my 2 kids in for their check-ups. My daughter was scared at first but Dr. Dan was GREAT with her. He is kind and tells them what he Is going to do before he starts any work. My son also did very well with him. His assistant was very nice to both of my kids too. I will defiantly take them there again for their next check-up!!

I would of given them a 0 star rating if I could. These folks are TERRIBLE and ruined my teeth. Firstly, they have you sitting and sitting in the waiting room and when your finally called to the back and are suspose to be getting your work done...there are screams from kids and the dentist keeps walking away to treat someone else while working on you! I had a root canal done and the permanent cap broke off in 1 week! I have dental insurance and they billed my insurance for the cap the first time and then charged me for the repair!??? WTF even. Then come to find out they didn't put a post in my root canal and that is the reason why it failed...but when I pointed that out and how fradulant they are...they didn't even care. Now I have a "real" Dentist working on me correcting all their faulty work in my mouth. I plan to get a lawyer so someone else doesn't have to pay twice for their dental work and then find another Dentist and fix it. Since Dental Nightmares, my dental work is costing a pretty penny to straighten out...but it's worth it knowing the Dentist I have now isn't hokey.

I would recommend this place to anyone who likes to be treated as a number one patient. My visit started off with the great customer service by the women at the front desk, Adriana. Very helpful, encouraging, and cimforting since i was scared. It was my first rout canal. Only waited just a couple of minutes. Was greeted kindly again by a man (dental assistant) everything was In great timing as I don't like to wait around at doctors office. I had a wonderful doctor, doctor dan. The whole office made me feel at ease.

I had another visit about 3 months later (january 23 2013) and had a fill and teeth cleaning. Same experience. Great staff, especially adriana and doctor dan. very good pricing as well since I know its hard when u are a bartender as myself and dont have insurance. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS DENTIST TO EVERYONE WANTING A GREAT EXPERIENCE

dr.dan is very very good... never had problems there... .theres a place in freeport il. that takes the medical card too, my daughter went there & didnt have a problem she gave the dentist a high five when he was done(& shes a big baby when it comes to dentists, & shes 23 lol)

Do not go to this place. My wife and I came in for a simple initial consultation and xrays, and sat in the chairs for two hours. During this period, the dentist treated other patients, and we were chilled by the screams of pain and fear, all up and down the hallway. We have since found a quality surgeon to do the work needed, but Dental Dreams refused to mail us the paperwork to release our xrays to the surgeon. Instead, they demanded that we show up, in person, to sign the release, even though that means a round-trip of three hours.



Do NOT go to this place. By the way, I didn't want to give this business a single star, but the software required a rating.
