Tonight I had a let down of catastrophic proportion: My Chicken Curry never arrived!!



Patiently I accepted as agreeable from the woman on the phone that my food would take, initially 45 minutes to reach me. I was stuck at home with the Grandkids all day; I got to work at four and had not eaten and calculated from 7:30 pm, I could just hold on…. Usually the food is familiar and they have a few tasty appetizers, but. I was in the mood for chicken curry and could hardly wait to set my palate on it, so I waited, then I waited some more. 45 minutes became one hour, then an hour and a half.



I called twice expecting an "it should already be there" response but what I got was just another twenty minutes from her, "it’s very busy!" My head became clouded, my stomach was growling an hour ago and just started to get even louder and more grotesquely baritone until I thought "Forget them!" and went to the Hospital’s cafeteria.



You do know that is not what I really said to myself, but you gotta keep it "G", right? I called them back and was entreated by the same spiteful person who started to respond that she thought it best too that I should… I had already hung up, it was not worth it, it was just convenient. On a special note when you work in a major hospital and you sometimes need food fast- a small order of Chicken Curry is just as special as a catered lunch. If I waited any longer I would be a patient now.



Try it, go there, it looks like an ok place for all you can eat buffet, but when it comes to real taste and delivery- "Don't hold your breath!!"

India Tandoor is the worst Indian restaurant in Baltimore. I have eaten from here 5 times. 3 times take-out, and twice delivery. Yes, they do deliver, but 2 hours late as it warns on FetchFood.com.



Actually it took them 2 hours 30 mins to get me my food. I ordered (from Foodler.com) at 19:12, I see that India Tandoor received the order at 19:13 (the order was attached to the bag). I didnt get the food until 21:42. I do not know how many times I called. Once they even told me that the delivery guy was out on call and his cell phone battery died. He then called me a few minutes later to tell me he was on his way. Not sure where he got the battery from all of a sudden.



When I got the food, the rice was plain rice not saffron, and there wasn't any garlic naan. Awful.



They told me that it was because it is a Friday and they were busy. I am sure it is the same every Friday. Every review I read says they are terribly slow delivering. If they can not do it, then they shouldn't do it. Terrible.
