      We love this store. We visit every time we come to Asheville. Two levels. All sorts of merchandise to choose from. Hiking gear. Souvenirs. Snacks. Candy!

      Since 1883, the Mast General Store has been making sure that folks had what they needed to thrive in the hills. Not much has changed. Sure, plowing with mules has been replaced by plowing through a great trail run and scouting a path through the woods has more to do with enjoying a Sunday afternoon that carrying water from the creek. But, mountain people still need quality footwear, gear and merchandise they can trust and neighbors they can count on. Mas Store is still here, still helping make sure that our neighbors have what they need to make the most of where they live.
