I absolutely LOVE living here at Sunnyside! I noticed the reviews on here and wanted to share my experience. My daughter and I moved in to a 2 bedroom about 7 months ago and I have been very impressed. The rent is reasonable and the utilities are MUCH lower than I expected to pay. The staff is friendly and the two times I have had to call for maintenance, they sent someone out that day! I was pleasantly surprised when it snowed; they shoveled the sidewalks and the parking lots! They just opened the pool this week and my daughter loves it! This place is worth every penny. I could not be more thrilled that I chose Sunnyside!

Under new management as of a few months ago and they are HORRIBLE!! THE ABSOLUTE WORST!! Have called EVERY DAY and asked them to fix my air conditioner and they won't. Staff is rude, impossible to work with. Cockroaches everywhere, ant problems, etc.... (and I keep my apartment CLEAN!) VERY POOR LIVING CONDITIONS!!!! I wish I could give them a zero star rating!!!!

DO NOT MOVE IN HERE!!! The management will try to screw you when you move out. MAKE SURE you take plenty of pictures of everything that is wrong with the apartments when you move in because they WILL charge you for it when you move out. EVEN if it is on your move in checklist. They are HORRIBLE!!!

Not great. Not really even good. This apartment complex charges fairly low rent, so you get the things that come along with low rent. It's fairly loud, people are pretty disrespectful, and the office staff treat tenants as though they're second-class citizens. Overall it's a pretty negative experience. I think there are a lot of people who have treated the office staff and the apartments with disrespect, and maybe that has carried over into the way the complex treats their tenants. There are five washers and five dryers for every 3 buildings. You have to carry your laundry to another building in order to get it done. Just cross your fingers that there'll be a washer available after you schlep your stuff to the laundry room!! They will hold on to every penny that they can. This means they will hold on to every bit of your security deposit whether it's justified or not. Don't bother. Really.
