Rube's has lost customers. We have been going to Rube's for many years. Since they opened their doors in Thurmont MD. Now they have made a "bigger" business and that family feeling and love is gone. It's all about that dollar. They are rude people and do not know how to treat people.

Fecal matter in My Shrimp!!! The black line across the back of shrimp is the shrimps fecal matter, they serve the shrimp with this fecal matter. When asked to send the shrimp back management refused to take it off the bill because thats the way they serve it and according to them there is nothing wrong with serving fecal matter in the food.

Pay your employees!

The crabs ABSOLUTELY are the best in the tri-state area! The food menu needs improvement with some items and it would be nice to see broasted chicken on the menu but however the crabs more than make up for it as there is no one that can touch Rube's steamed crabs!!!!

We have eaten at Rube's and I must say THE BEST EVER!!! the service was great, greeted with a smile and everyone was very nice. The food was excellent and I would recommend not listening to the negative reviews and try it for yourselves because when a resturant is just starting out there are kinks that have to be worked out. I think they have improve 100%. Loved it!!!

we had a party of 17 .the service was good food was good. cream of crab soup is GREAT! the restaurant at that point had only been opened for about 3 wks.With that being said every thing was good.would definately go again!

Much needed seafood restaurant in e-burg. Ate there the 1st week they opened. It was. Ok. We've been back several times since and it gets better every time. The Crabs rock... Just give them a chance to work things out. They are improving. Glad we gave them a second chance.. We will be back soon.

Rubes has been opened just over a month in Emmitsburg. I have had several meals there including the crabs to go and to eat in and the place is fabulous! Emmitsburg was in a big need for a new restaurant and Rubes fills that need. It is different, delicious and affordable. Try it you will love it.

Absolutely awful!!! The food is not the best and the menu needs improvement. We were in a party of 8 and complained about our food just to be attacked by the owner. We will never go back. We have asked around since and no one seems to have anything positive to say.
