Went to one of those "liquidation" clearance sales on 2 Oct 09 and what an absolute wast of time and money. First off there was no mention of the $7.00 entrance fee in any advertisement that I saw/heard...no big deal yet though. At the entrance there was a sign that paying by Credit Card would incur a $0.50 charge, in violation of Visa, Master Card, and most other reputable credit and debit card underwriters merchant agreements. Inside there were no "deals" almost all electronics I saw could be had for the same or less from Newegg and in at least one case Walmart, with the added bonus of a return policy from those two. Was in, unimpressed, and out in less than 5 min. I guess the only bright spot is they didn't have someone collecting for parking. Won't be going back to Knoxville Expo Center anytime soon, and by "anytime soon" I mean EVER.Also dropped a dime to the major CC underwriters for the KEC merchant agreement violations.
