For over six decades Cardinal Hill has been a unique and valuable part of Central Kentucky. Founded in 1950, Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Hospital has grown from a small convalescent home for children with polio, to one of Kentuckys largest physical rehabilitation hospitals. Our goal is to provide the best possible programs and services for people with disabilities and return them to maximum independence. We are known for our top-rate care to our patients and their families. Patients are our first priority, along with their family/caregivers. We offer physical, occupational, speech and respiratory therapy, plus around the clock nursing and medical care for people of all ages. Therapy programs are custom tailored for each patient and their specific needs. Patients will have a full treatment team of highly trained and specialized staff to help them achieve their goals. Every patient is treated as an individual while working to achieve personal goals. Individual counseling, support groups, family education and referrals for community resources are all available. Family support is a key element in a successful rehabilitation experience. Cardinal Hill is known as the regions premier physical rehabilitation hospital. Cardinal Hill features an inpatient division, outpatient therapy, home health care, an adult day health program and a skilled rehabilitation program. Cardinal Hill treats people of all ages who have suffered from a traumatic accident or live with a debilitating illness.
