If there was a zero star option, that is what they would be getting. I have never in my life experienced such awful customer service from not only the department store BUT the corporate office. My boyfriend and I purchased a bed from Grand Furniture and had it delivered roughly two weeks after purchase. The day the delivery driver showed up he BROKE our headboard. He assured us that a memo would be placed to have this fixed right away. After a little over a week of us having our new bed, it started making noise indicating it was broken. At this point we had also not received any sort of phone call to let us know when the headboard was expected to be replaced. I called Grand to put in a service request about the base of our bed potentially being broken. They sent out a service technician who took a few photos and also said we would hear from someone within the next day or so. After another week we STILL had not heard from anyone. At this point we had to call Grand again and were given the run around. After finally speaking with a manager who could help, he gave us the number to Kathy at the corporate office. He said she was the person who could fix everything and help us get our bed fixed immediately. This was not the case! When we finally got in touch with Kathy she was extremely discourteous and what seemed to be removed from the situation. She could have cared less about what we were going through and just like everyone else, she gave us ANOTHER phone number to call. She said that our base came from Ashley furniture so Grand should have never sent a technician out and we needed to call Ashley furniture. After multiple phone calls all equally frustrating, we never once heard an apology or any empathy from her. Instead we were made to feel as if we were wasting her time and she needed to hurry us off the phone. In fact her only form of compensation after such a frustration, was to offer us either a gift certificate or a $250.00 credit off of our account for a bed we paid $4000.00 for! Huge slap in the face!! Then after we decided to at least get a portion of our deposit back and take the $250.00 credit, we were told in order to get this money back it would increase our monthly payments. What in the world????? This company is the absolutely worst and we will NEVER purchase anything from them again. If you are reading this, please save yourself and go to a reputable store!

This place had a few different things to offer, prices were not bad..I just couldn't find anything that I liked for my apartment. Some things were great for a full house and other things were not my style.

Horrible service. I've been in the store twice on two seperate occassions and both times the sales person says that they were leaving to check on a price and they went to help another customer. I hope that they do not work on commission.

I had the unfortunate need to contact the customer service team at Grand Furniture this morning, and I have never in my life been spoken to in such a rude, disrespectful, and abusive manner. Almost immediately the young lady on the phone began yelling and insulting me. After I attempted to calm the situation, she hung up on me. There are several furniture stores in the Hampton Roads area. Please consider making your purchase with another company. The service at Grand Furniture is unquestionably the worst I have ever received.

Good place to find deals on scratch and dent stuff. This is not top of the line stuff by any means but it is good for what it is. Got some good stuff to go into my make shift guy's room.
