I paid $2800 for a rear end on a dually to be fully rebulit. I picked it up from southern gear put it in the truck an went 6 miles and the rear end was screaming just like it was before. So I called an they gave me the run around and told me to bring it back and they would upgrade it from the Yukon to American axle because “ Yukon is a very noise locker” they didn’t tell me that when I spent $2800 on it. So they have the rear end another week, they say they switched lockers from the Yukon to America axles, I don’t believe they did I’m sure They just shimmed it and then told me to come pick it up. So I get the rear end put back it in the truck again and same thing still singing like a school girl. I spent all that money and wasted all that time taking the rear end out and it’s still screaming makin noise. I’ve called Jeff Hughes and left messages and still no response. You’d think you get what you pay for but that’s not the case with southern Gear!

They were up front The dodge ram 1500 runs like new.

Forget any warranty ...they will wriggle out of it with plenty of excuses and reasons readily at hand ...they want me to pull the diff. They built so they can replace a leaking pinion seal...RIGHT...they fired plenty of reasons it wasnt their fault before they even saw it...crooks. stay away.
