      Founded in 1937 as a hatchery and feed mill, Peco Foods is one of the largest, family-owned and privately held poultry producers in the United States. It is an integrated poultry processing and packaging company. The company exports products throughout North America, South America, Asia and Eastern Europe. Peco Foods operates processing plants throughout Mississippi and Alabama. Its clients include Walmart, Topco Associates, Wegmans, Giant Eagle, Publix Super Markets, Supervalu and Safeway. The company provides breast products for the retail, corporate and food service markets. Its retail products division offers a range of frozen, deli and tray-pack chicken products. Peco Foods maintains a customer service department.
