First of all, Brandon is a super great guy and the amazing thing about this place is, once you establish that relationship with them, you don't have to drive out there and wait for 2 hours to get a part puller to pull your parts but rather, they will always have your parts ready for you when you get there with just a phone call.👍

Their free delivery to the DFW area even make it more beautiful.👍

All the part pullers are always happy and smiling and ready to carefully pull your parts like which means they don't just take care of their clients alone but they actually take good care if theire employees and if you've been going here for years like me, you will realize that they've kept the same employees for years which is not very common for a wrecking yard.👍

They are always ready to match any price and mosy at time they'll ask you; "where do you want the price to be at" lol.😃

If they tell you that the part is there, trust me, it's there and in good shape not like other yards that says the part is there and you drive all the way and spend hours waiting for them to tell you that the part was sild or damage.😓

on 8/12/15 i walked in and was looking for 2 alloy rims... and honestly i was blown away with the amazing customer service i walked in told them what i want they let in the yard found what i was looking for and a few other odds and ends ill need. Chris i will be back thank you so much.

The review on the fender. Customer was told the fender had damage and needed repair. The inside mounting rail where the fender bolts are was creased because the front corner was pulled to the inside about 1/2 inch. By looking at the fender you would not know it was damaged until you looked on the rail where the top mounting bolts are. The customer was told about the damage before he came out. Before he saw the damage on the inside and did not want to take it, he said it would work and he wanted it and it looked good. Now he said "its clearly visable"?? We were upfront and honest about the damage and now the customer is mad because it had damage. That doesnt make any sense......

Lied to on the phone about the condition of a fender. I was told there was a crease on the mounting strip but was not visible on the outside of the fender. It was clearly visible and would be very obvious with the hood shut. Not easy to repair where it was and the fender was most likely out of shape given how the crease was. I made a 110 mile round trip to pick up and took 2.5 hours out of a work day to pick up based on their word

To the review on the climate control.....The customer waited weeks before he called. Just like a lot of other recycling yards, we do not warranty electrical items. We have signs posted in our office and also explain it to the customer before they purchase. All customers are aware that electrical parts have NO WARRANTY. However, we do allow customers to drive their vehicle to our location and test the parts before they pay or leave our business. Once you drive away that part is yours. The buyer was aware of our policy.

This place is shady sold me a climate control for my tahoe that dont even work called to ask for a different one and they said we dont warraty parts so i said so you sale none working parts and all the guy could say is we dont warranty parts. I didnt want my money back i just wanted somthing that worked and he said no. This place sucks i dont know how they sleep at night . I work way to hard to give my money to thieves thats all they are !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bought a 5 speed swap kit for my truck from these people. First of all they didnt send me anything they was supposed to. Only thing I recieved was transmission, drive shaft, and a cracked flywheel. They did send me money for the parts they didnt send. Which was $200. That wasnt even enough to pay for the clutch that they didnt send which I paid $500 for a new one. But I wasnt gonna complain about that because I always put a new clutch in any vehicle I work on. Would have been nice to have for core charge though. Not to mention I had to pay $300 for master and slave cylinders which they didnt send. They advertised the transmission on craigslist as a kit and should have included all the above. Before I payed for the transmission I asked them if it shifted like it should. I recieved the transmission in decent time. I decided to trust them and installed the transmission. Took it out for a drive and it will barely stay in 3rd gear and grinds horribly bad when shifting. I installed everything myself. I graduated from nashville auto diesel college with ASE certifications and I know what im doing. I called back and asked for money for a rebuild kit which is only $250. I paid $1350 for the trans. I didnt even want money for the time I wasted installing it. After that they would not answer my phone calls. I called using a different number and they told me to call back the next morning and they ignored my phone calls. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. They will rip you off. They have done it to many people. Do not make the mistake I did. And brandon if your reading this I hope your business goes bankrupt. If you even own the business. By the way I forgot to mention the front main seal on the trans leaks. fluid for this transmission is $25.70 a quart. Had to buy from the dealer because this transmission uses carbon fiber synchronizers which requires 75w-80 synthetic fluid only.

The Cadillac engine.....When you purchase parts, you will get an interchangeable part. The part you purchase may not be the exact year, make, or model as what you have. Most parts can fit a wide range of years, makes and models. Please be aware of that when buying parts. When the customer was in the office, we told him that some parts may need to be used off the original engine and the customer understood and was ok with that. When you purchase a used engine, you have parts like intake, water pump, oil pan, exhaust manifolds and water pump that are still on the engine. Those parts are only included for convenience and have no guarantee to be exactly the same. That information is also stated on our warranty paper that is read and signed by the customer. Some items on engines have different options, even if its the exact same year. When the lady called and asked why our engine was not the exact same year as hers, we told her the engine was interchangeable, just as we told the customer who purchased the engine. She did not understand and there wasnt much we could say but explain that parts are interchangeable and they are the same.

I was looking for a 2005 cadillac cts moter and I called to Chris's Auto Salvage and they told me they had a 05 cadillac cts moter for 1600.00 I specifically asked if this was a 2005 and they told me yes. I drive 2 1/2 hours to pick up this motor get it home to the mechanic and come to find out it is not a 2005 it is a 2004. I called to the auto salvage yard and spoke with Brandon who could only keep saying it was interchangable. I advised him I should have been told it was a 2004 because all the other salvage yards were completely honest about the year. I told him I would not have paid 1600 for a 2004 that they were cheaper other places should I have known this was a 2004 I would have never bought and I feel regaurdless as to what is interchangable they should have told me it was a 2004. Which makes me wonder what else they are trying to cover up.

I prepaid over the phone with my credit card so they could have it pulled out by the time I got there. Like promised, it was on a pallet and ready to be loaded up in my husbands truck...The office people and the people outback were awesome. It's feels good to drive again.

This company is very helpfull and honest. not like any of the other salvage yards in waxahachie. have never had a problem and they are all very nice. good parts and good people. dont believe what some people say. you cant please everyone.

They ripped us off under the name of Texas Choice Auto Parts. They (Brandon Girard, co-owner) have changed their name because this name has several reports on ripoffreport.com. We bought an engine 4 1/2 months ago and it had major problems, that with a little bit of testing, they would have known. When they find out something is wrong they will ignore your phone calls. I had to take action and it was ruled in my favor but I still have to pay shipping to send the item back. BEWARE!!! It was and still is an awful experience!

This is a good company to do business with over the internet. So far they have been able to take care of my automotive needs. They are prompt, helpfull and friendly people to deal with. I recomend them and will use their services again.
