For the most part HDC is a pretty good place depending who the Q is over the wing! Beware of blue wing their Q has issues and prefers her staff to do her paperwork ane etc. And shows favortism with staff and residents! The employees do their best with what they got!!
Handicapped Development Center is the very best facility that I have ever visited. My step sister is a resident in the one located at 2700 Linwood ct.Davenport.The people who work there are very knowledgeable in what ever position they are hired for. They are a loving and caring group of people and you could look forever and not find any better. We have visited many others and none can compare with HDC.Our little sister almost died and we credit the staff at HDC for their faithful watching and treatment to being alive to day.I just can't say enough about the facility it is always clean, and well kept. They treat everyone as if they were the most special person on earth.I have worked at other homes and none are as well deserving praise as HDC.God Bless all the workers ,helpers and Nurses and staff.A hard job but well done by all.Thank You
