Adoption is a Choice You Can Live With
- Business History
- In 1988, it became our life and mission to assist women with unplanned pregnancies. We wanted to help women to be able to make an adoption plan that they can be proud to have completed. We wanted the birth mothers to have their basic financial needs met. We wanted to support the mothers and see that their medical, social, emotional and financial needs were met, even when no other attorneys or agencies were in agreement. Since 1988, we have finalized over 400 adoptions. Several of the adoptions were DHS foster care parent adoptions. However, most were private placement adoptions. We would now like to recommit part of our practice to the completion of DHS finalization cases. With Court approval, financial aid is available to help the birth mother. Uncovered medical costs and private counseling may also be paid. The adoptive parents pay all the expenses of adoption.

The attorneys and staff at Bado & Bado believe that women who make adoption plans for their children may be the most heroic people in our society. Few individuals place the needs of others so far above their own. A birthmother makes the ultimate sacrifice because she loves her baby. As adoption attorneys with more than 32 years experience, we are always amazed at the courage and determination birthmothers display. We seek to find adoptive parents who will also recognize and value the birthmother's commitment to provide the best life possible for her child.
