My mother moved into the Captain Lewis Residence last year following rehab for a fall. We were very concerned that she wouldn't adapt to "facility living" since she had always been very independent with her own apartment and car since my father's passing several years ago. We were pleasantly surprised at how well she adjusted to Captain Lewis. The staff was very accommodating, friendly, and worked hard to make her feel welcome. Within a month, she had made friends with many other residents and consistently referred to Captain Lewis as "home". We couldn't be happier with how things have worked out. We would strongly recommend Captain Lewis Residence to any senior needing similar care.
