I had been going to Rachel King at Revelationz for over a year. I never really had a problem. Always tipped well and never complained no matter how long I may have to wait. So when I went in for my reg appt for highlights and Rachel put the wrong color on my hair I was not too concerned. I had faith that I had treated her well and that we had a professional enough relationship that she would fix the problem as she had promised.

Unfortunately I was in for a shock. When after multiple washings I was still left with purple hair and a wedding in three weeks I panicked and left a message on the business answering machine that I needed to see Rachel to have her "fix" the problem. The receptionist called set up an appointment and I thought nothing more of it... until I went in.

Although Rachel had no customer she kept me waiting for almost 15 mins. When she finally showed she was confrontational and said that she had just done what I asked her to do. I was confused. No that is not true. Then she claimed I had come in with that color already and that she had just matched the rest of my hair with my roots. Wow, LIE. After about two min. of this I realized she was not going to help me. I even offered to pay for the correction but I was leaving on Monday and today was the only day I have time to fix my purple hair. She called her Mother/owner over who told me to go somewhere else. They were not going to fix my hair, they were not going to refund my money and if I did not leave they would call the police. WOW!!

I stood there stunned. Not even five min into the conversation they were calling the police. I had not raised my voice. Yes I was upset but at my hair not her. I never made any threats towards anyone. I stood there stunned and dumbfounded that someone I thought I could rely on could so leave me in the lerch. Tipping over 20% Never complained before to be treated this disgracefully is just shameful.

Please.... there are Beauty Salons on every corner here in Florence. Choose anyone but this. Because no matter how much you tip or spend or are kind and patient .... in the end you will be left holding the .... Purple Hair!!

My husband and I have been getting our hair done at Revelationz for a couple of years and we have never had anything but a great experiences there! We have also referred this salon to a number of people, all of whom have also had great experiences! Everyone is very welcoming, accommodating and talented. I have seen great work from every stylist there. I would recommend this salon to anyone!
