SERVICE & REPAIRIs your Furnace costing you money every year to keep it running? Does your Air Conditioner sound like a jet engine? Call Elite Heating & Cooling in Fort Wayne, Indiana and let us take a look. If its time to replace, well help you design a Custom System that best suits your needs. COMMERCIAL SERVICESThe last thing a business owner needs is downtime and decreased productivity. Elite Heating & Cooling will work with you to keep everything operating at tip-top shape to help with your bottom line. We have specially designed preventative maintenance plans that will make sure your Comfort Equipment is at tip-top shape. Much like your vehicle needs a tune-up, let us get under the hood and keep it running better, longer. How often should I change my filter? If you have a standard 1 filter, it will likely need to be changed in 1 to 3 months. 4 Media Filters can last up to 6 months. The longevity depends on numbers of occupants/pets and how often the HVAC System runs. Should I cover my Air Conditioner in the Winter? This is one of the most common questions. The Air Conditioner itself are designed to be in the elements but if you may inadvertently provide shelter for a nuisance animal looking to stay warm. It is generally personal preference. Who can I call for HVAC Service? There are some who falsely advertise that if your equipment is serviced by a Contractor other than themselves, then your warranty is void. This is Completely Untrue, Dishonest, and an outright Lie. The warranty is owned by the purchaser of the equipment - i.e. The Customer!Where is my Filter? The Filter will always be in the Cold Air Return side of the ductwork System. The majority of the time it will be close to the Furnace, a.k.a. Heater, but this is not always the case.
