      The Northern Kentucky Area Planning Commission has been in operation since 1961. It provides contractual services for building and zoning administration assistance, engineering review, comprehensive plan updates and planning related studies and functions. The commission offers services to local governments in Kenton and Campbell counties. The Northern Kentucky Area Planning Commission has a staff of trainee and certified professionals, including urban and regional planners, professional engineers, land surveyors, building officials and administrators. It specializes in providing long-range planning, infrastructure engineering and administration services. The commission designs and conducts committee meetings. The Northern Kentucky Area Planning Commission additionally offers interactive mapping and surveying services.
