Eagle Gastroenterology specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of digestive system disorders. The center performs diagnostic processes using upper and lower endoscopy for evaluating problems in the digestive tract and associated organs, such as liver, gallbladder and pancreas. In addition, it performs endoscopy procedures for ambulatory patients at the Eagle Endoscopy Center. Eagle Gastroenterology also has expertise in colonoscopy procedures. The center is a part of Eagle Physicians & Associates, which is an independent, physician-owned multispecialty group practice of more than 80 physicians. The parent organization maintains over 10 offices in the Greensboro area in North Carolina. Its areas of expertise include gastroenterology, endocrinology, rheumatology, endoscopy and internal medicine.
