I recently had my hair but by Amber at Studio 135 in Greenwood. I was a little nervous at first, because the past few salons I've been to didn't cut my hair the way I wanted. Amber listened and asked me several questions about what I wanted. She was very polite during the entire time I was there and made me feel very comfortable. Needless to say, my hair looks great, and I will definitely be going back!!!

This is the best salon I have ...

This is the best salon I have ever been too! I get my hair done by Ashlee Mills. She has never once messed up my hair and I'm sure if she did she would definitely fix it no questions asked. I have seen a couple other people in the salon and they were very sweet! I highly recommend this salon to everyone I know!!

Education about box color/damaged hair! In defense.

Being a hairstylist myself, and anyone who does hair professionally would tell you that box color is a

nightmare to fix. On top of using box color, if your hair is at all damaged it will do absolutely crazy things when coloring with a professional color. What happens with the hair shaft if it is damaged and porous the hair will grab the color so fast and darker than expected, it is out of the hairstylists control what your fried and damaged hair will do because of the disrespect you treated your hair in the past. As far as the color around the hair line, if you want every single hair colored, you're gonna get some on your face. Last time i checked your hair does grow right next to your face. Some people's skin is more porous than others, it happens. So you choose, either you color every hair and get some on your face that will come off soon, or you don't get every hair and its not on your face. When mixing amounts of color, if that person has never done your hair before how are they suppose to know how much to mix, especially if the hair is damaged it will soak up the color just like a dry sponge and water. Refills are required. Just putting my 2 cents in. Someone needs to defend us hairstylists!!!

It is so nice to go into a salon and have such a friendly person at the desk checking you in. The service at this salon is A+ - the atmosphere is awesome and so much you can have done in the salon - I especially love my hairstylist - Raechell Howell - she is awesome - again keep up the friendly atmosphere - most places are starting to lose that but I don't feel that when I come to Studio 135

This place rocks! I see a guy named Robert that is a master stylist and he knows his stuff. Let him go and do his thing, you wont be disappointed. He absolutely loves his job and it shows everytime I leave. His attention to detail is like nothing I have ever experienced before. Kudos to Robert, I just love you!

There is a guy there named Robert that has been doing my hair for about 4 years now and he rocks!! Short and spunk long and textured, this guy can do it all. He continues to get better and better everytime I go back and even after years of doing this its obvious he loves his job. Dont let the tattoos scare you, hes got great taste and I cant give him enough praise. Im yours forever Robert and constantly referring my friends and family to you. You Rock!

I went several months back for a "Deep tissue massage" I know what you're talking about...very friendly girl...although by the end of the session I knew her whole life story. Really bad massage. She worked on one area so long...I was in more pain when I left than when I walked in. I will not be going back! I have had massages at several places and all price ranges. The only reason I went there is location convenience. If you want a really excellent massage and spa experience...go to Mars and Venus Day Spa in Brownsburg. I know thats a little out of the way....but boy! is it worth it. I have never felt so pampered and relaxed. Just wish it were closer...

Unprofessional and poor quality

Not sure about all their stylist, but Ashlee is NOT one I would recommend for color. These girls spend their time on gossip, not your hair. Her comments of "oops" and "wow, I dont understand this" was not a good feeling while she was working on my color, nor was the sarcastic remarks about me not liking the results of what she had done. You go to a professional because you need help, Ashlee spent my time telling me that because I ruined my hair from color in the past that she could not do much with it. I asked for brown I got jet black, I am not sure if this was because she kept running out of color and kept going to the back for more that she lost track of what she was doing? I am not the professional she was?? the color was put on my hair line but even after she tried to scrub it off I still had black lines that looked as if somebody had taken a black sharpie and drawn on my face, she assured me that even after she had tried to scrub it off with a brush that I could go home and take a little soap and water and it would come right off..... another stylist assured me that all the color works that way that she even had dye marks on her face that wont come off. They did offer to fix the problem, I let them (how could I go out in public looking the was I did, I needed it to be fixed and I did not know how to nor did I have the money to go someplace else) my hair did look better than the first attempt but again I asked for brown, I got black and after the second try I got auburn. I feel it was best to walk away and never go back.

That was a deep tissue ?

My husband and I went for a deep tissue massage for couples and their website listed what they had to offer and prices.The prices were compairable to everyone else and my husband was more comfortable with me in the room which was also not something everyone else offers so I gave them a call.My direct questions were" are your technicians licsensed and certified"? Ofcourse the answer was yes.We signed no liable waivers which I have had to sign at every spa I had been to. We were taken back to the room and told to undress and get on the table,the girls returned and began massaging us like we were eighty year old ladies and had to be told what glutes were.Their personalities were exquisite but we did not go to chat.Upon leaving is when I found out my husbands experience was no different than mine and with this being his first and having cerebral paulsey,I was truly hoping this would be theraputic for him but he recieved no relief.We are now unable to get a return call to disuss this and on the way out we were charged an extra twenty dollars for a deep tissue massage that we never recieved and nowhere does it state on there pricing that there is an upcharge. As a matter of fact for $130.00 you can choose what massage you would like and again it speaks of no up charge.So if you are looking for a good conversation and someone to skim your wallet and not tell you until after services rendered this is the place to go...Looking for a good deep tissue massage...GO SOMEWHERE ELSE !!! And as for the new management that is recieving the praise on others reviews,she is not projecting herself to be any better than previous management that has been accused of handling things poorly.This "was" potentially a weekly customer who "needed the deep tissue for relief from cerebral paulsey,but because of what we have seen of her thus far someone else will be recieving our $150.00 and hopefully appreciating their customers moreso than she and she may want to update her webpages as not to have her customers not feel they are being overcharged...that is very decieving and these days $20.00 is alot of money to alot of people and some of those people will be taking the extra away from the tips from your employees but I am sure that does not concern her either.Sincerely...STILL SORE AND BROKE!!!

I am in the business & try different places from time to time but let me tell you studio 135 will be one that i regreted going to, it was very unsanitary, unprofessional & had no sense of customer service.. I would ask for my money back but with the condition of the manicuring area i dont think i would touch the money that i gave them in the 1st place, after seeing the conditions of the rest of the place they can keep my money they may need it when everybody comes down with some form of contact dermatitis

They got rid of that manager alomst a year ago. I know exactly who you are talking about she is now the owner of Zen salon and spa in greenwood in. I have been going to Studio 135 for 4 years and i have never been treated like that. Give it another shot im sure you will see it differently.
