I can't find anything to complain about. The Sunday brunch was packed and loud. We had a reservation, were seated promptly, had a very busy but attentive waitress. Food selection in the buffet was definitely above average and fresh food was continually being brought out from the kitchen. I can't believe I'm doing this, especially since I hate buffets and I miss the old Fox and Hounds with the uber-expensive gourmet food, but I'm giving you guys a five.

Forget goings there. We calle...

Forget goings there. We called for thanksgiving and was told that the buffet was 15.95 when we received our check it was 19.99 each the buffet wasn't any better than eating at the ponderosa, very disappointing meal. The line was long, only one place to get your food with hundreds of people. 18% was added to our bill for a girl to take our empty plates when she walked past. wouldn't go back.

Better than what I read

Definitly better than expected based on the reviews I read. We could not find anything to be unhappy with. Surf and turf for two, with an appetizer, dessert and two drinks for about $60.00. Outstanding..... Keep up the good work.

Great Fish Fry

Haven't been to Fox & Hounds in years but went for a fish fry. It was great. Went with a bunch of people and everybody liked it and the service was great also.

TRY FISH FRY

Great bargain, and really good. make sure if you order the shrimp and fish, pay to upgrade the fish! The cod is prime, thick and juicy. service is fair, not the greatest. Monday thru thursday they advertise buy one meal get one, going to try that as well. The soups there are very good.

A great dining experience

I remember going to the Fox and Hounds many years ago....heard lots of advertising on the Greenhouse show...decided to go back....the setting was exquisite...a great dining experience...the bartenders are very personable..have been back several times....we live in Fond du Lac...so it's definitely worth the trip!!!

German setting;American food.

Beauitful building, surroundings and interior. The setting is excellent. Low quality german food.

It's now a family type place for casual foods.

General Info
In 1845, the first clerk of Washington County built a quaint, one-room cabin in the wooded, rolling hills of the northern Kettle Moraine. Nearly 90 years later, Ray Wolf, an avid horseman, restored the cabin, added a basement bar and opened it to fellow equestrians. It soon became headquarters for many a fox hunt, and so the name, “Fox & Hounds” was a natural when the Wolfs opened their restaurant in 1933.
