NEVER USE THIS BUSINESS!!! After recovering my sister's vehicle from a minor accident with a road sign, they drove around with the car on their truck for over 4 hours while I waited to see the car. When I finally saw the vehicle, they said that it was totalled and that an insurance claims adjuster did not need to come see the vehicle. They then locked the car behind a fence, took the keys, and would not let us see the car. They flat-out lied to us at least five times while holding the car hostage. The insurance company said that they were not handling this situation correctly at all, they knew this business to be "difficult", and would move the vehicle to a different shop. When the insurance company tried to send a truck to get the car, they argued with the insurance company until the insurance company agreed to let Beard's deliver the vehicle to a respectable business so that they could weasel a few more bucks out of the situation. The damage to the vehicle was restricted to sheetmetal and lights (that doesn't exactly qualify as totalled). The vehicle could have been driven away from the accident.

And, for the record, the officer responding the scene of the accident told my sister to not call AAA because "they are worthless". The officer then called Beard's. I think that the officer needs to re-evaluate his definition of "worthless".

My boyfriend and I recently bought a motorcycle and due to registration errors the police had the bike towed at our expense. Unfortunately they called Beards towing. The first instance of dealing with them they were uncooperative and very unhelpful. We went the very next day to try and get the bike and no one was around. I called the number and they were out to lunch... For the next hour and a half. Needless to say we had to leave. The next day we were finally able to speak to someone in person. I pulled out my credit card to pay and surprise they don t take it. CASH ONLY PEOPLE. Hope you have $200 just laying around. To put a bike on a roll back and drive one mile cost $125. Then $35 for each day they stored it. So less than 48 hours and $195 later we got our bike back. This company is unhelpful, disorganized, and way over priced. If the police tell you it s gonna get towed CALL YOUR OWN COMPANY!!

Customer Service with a nasty old woman...no thanks I'll push my car too.

My family had an auto accident and used this service. This company made an attempt to total the vehicle which only suffered a minor fender mangeling. This was in an attempt to sell the car parts for extra money, against our wishes. Not only this but they also refused to let the family see the vehicle for 3 day after the incident. The service toward customers was nothing less than unfriendly, unnecessary, and unruley. I would rather push my vehicle next time than even think of calling Beards Towing Inc.
