Every appointment you are there for hours, it’s absolutely ridiculous, I have never sat so long at a dentist office . Staff is super nice, Dentists are awesome but people have things to do, sitting there for 2 hrs is insane!

I can say ditto to Brandy B. comment. It is a "puppy mill" for dentistry.

Initially I was happy with Aspen Dental in Traverse City; however, I am no longer. I paid up front almost $1300 for treatment and follow up visits. I arrive today for another follow up appointment and was told I owed $164 for today's treatment. I was shocked to say the least. I asked "Why wasn't I advised of this prior to coming in today?" The receptionist just sat there and didn't reply. I then stated "I would like to cancel my appointment." How ridiculous! Why wouldn't they advise me that the $1300 I paid previously would no longer cover my follow up appointments? Why because they figured once I was in their office I would just pay it. WRONG! Very disappointed. Another side note your appointment might be at 12 pm but they don't walk in for your visit for almost 20-30 minutes after you are sitting in the chair. Poor customer service. Very unhappy. Will never return.

I'm not sure why people are giving this office bad reviews. I didn't have a bad experience here at all. It was actually quite nice. The staff was really nice and the primary dentist there has quite a bit of experience in the practice. Their rates are comparable if not better than most private practices. I did pay on my own and did not use their payment plan, as their plan seems to be where most people have bad experiences with Aspen (must be headquarter billing problems in NY). The hygienist was sweet too. I am positive if you treated the woman at the desk with disrespect, she probably was upset with you.



I recommend if you are looking for affordable dental work from experienced and friendly staff.

There idea of an "emergency" is getting you in 5 days later.. I called their office in tears cause of the pain and the lady kept snapping at me! Sorry but if I'm in pain and in tears I don't need this woman being a b---- to me!!! She needs to be fired!
