Good service and they didn't have a problem with special requests. They built the transmission I wanted and stayed a little late so I could pick it up after work. So far runs great and shifts smoothly.

The owner (Mike) did honest work and charged a reasonable price. He offered a very generous warranty, and bent over backwards to earn my trust and satisfaction. Can't ask for more. Highly recommend!! Jim

I am writing this review because I want to recognize an honest shop with integrity. I recently brought my 1994 Camry to be diagnosed. The shop owner Mike Bruce was very honest with me. He gave me a complimentary test drive to diagnose the transmission performance, and told me the trans did not require immediate repair. To me, a competent and honest automotive repair shop is harder and harder to find. I am also leery of the shops that make you leave the car overnight for diagnosis, so they can open it up to take a look. Southern MD Transmission provided me with an honest and thorough diagnosis within 30 minutes, and Mike recommended that I could save some money by not rebuilding the trans at this time. That is the kind of customer service and integrity I value and look for. I will continue to use the car, and will send an update review if I decide to have the transmission serviced there in the future. Jim
