Long story, but if you were looking for a place to go for body work/inspections, DONT GO HERE, and please read my story!Where can I start? Every interaction I had with them has been shady or rude. Just from speaking on the phone with them I probably should have realized this wasnt the place to go, but when you need an inspection and its convenient, I went there. After they finished the inspection on my sisters car, it failed the safety and emissions part of the inspection, the safety part for rocker panels and one tire and the emissions part because the battery supposedly had been disconnected. Heres where it gets odd. We were able to make sure that the car ran for 200 miles to make sure the onboard computer (or what have you) was ready for the inspection and we dropped off the car late on a Thursday. We made it very clear that we wanted to have the inspection rerun (to make sure that the onboard computer was active again) and if it passed, then we were going to pay for the rest of the body work. We told them not to attempt any major bodywork unless it matched their estimates to repair the things that failed the inspection. They agreed, and we thought it was all set.Friday morning, we received a phone call from them that the car wouldnt start. They said that it wasnt doing anything, they tried wheeling it into the shop, jump starting it, and nothing. When they opened up the hood, they told us that the battery may have been disconnected and the leads were loose. Odd. The car was working perfectly when we gave them the keys (we tested it just to make sure), and yet they told us that it was our fault. I spent 15-20 minutes on the phone with the guy in disbelief as he accused it of being my fault, and how he isnt responsible for something that happened in his parking lot (which as far as I know of, is his property and the car is under his care at that time). I told him Im upset, they need to figure something out, and I had to talk to my wife and I hung up on him (Ill admit, not my proudest moment, but I was upset and was being blamed for something I didnt do.I call back in the afternoon to ask them to check it again, because this was in their lot, their responsibility, and I wasnt going to pay for any lengthy inspection. This time, I was apparently talking to his brother. He and I initially were able to have a decent conversation, albeit a little heated, but we agreed that he would take a brief look at the car to see what went wrong. He calls me back 10 minutes later to tell me that the key is wrong, and the car wont start because of that. Ok, this seems like a legitimate issue since we dropped it off with an aftermarket valet key instead of the main key fob. But wait, that morning, they called and tried to jump start my car and check out the battery? If it was a key issue, shouldnt you have been able to notice that immediately? Either the first person was incompetent (which doesnt seem likely), or something shady was going on. I told the brother that I would be down there later that day to deal with it and to not do any body work on the car. He said ok and we left it at that. First thing we do when we get there was park next to the car and my sister puts the key in the ignition. Car starts perfectly. Interesting. We go inside and tell the brother exactly that. He gives me an odd expression, so I ask for the original key back to test it, and he gets it. We bring it to the car, and it starts just fine. So wait, what was the issue? Was it a battery or a key issue? I went inside to talk to the brother, visibly upset. He gets defensive, accuses me of being rude, and condescendingly tells me that he is trying to explain the issue but since he listened to me, I have to listen to him. I told him it makes no sense that it wouldnt start this morning and that they key wouldnt work. I also told him that if he was going to talk to me rudely, Im not going to stay and Im just going to leave. He tried to hem and h

i.e., A local favorite, or highly recommended DO NOT go to this place for an inspection or repairs unless you have plenty of time and money to spare. My husband made the mistake of bringing our car in to get inspected here. We have a car that is only several years old, fairly high-end, and very well maintained. The owner and mechanic both put us through hell to get inspected and failed my car twice due to extremely minor issues that I have gotten passed for in prior inspections at other (better) places. This was done intentionally just to give them an excuse to try to do the repairs for very expensive charges. Luckily my husband is handy and was able to fix them himself! I will never be back to this place and would strongly recommend NOT going to this place for service and inspections unless you enjoy having a giant red "R" on your car until you get everything fixed. The workers there are extremely rude and only want your money. Literally, they will fail you for ANY SMALL UNIMPORTANT THING.
