      Founded in 1979, Alleghany Regional Hospital offers health care services and diagnostic equipment. It offers services related to angiography, diabetes, endoscopy, infectious disease, mammography, gynecology hematology impotence and immunology, as well as lithotripsy nephrology ophthalmology, pediatrics and podiatry. It also provides osteoporosis screening, oncology, pastoral, nutritional and laboratory services. Alleghany Regional Hospital offers emergency services for a range of injuries and illnesses, such as broken bone, stomach pain, laceration, burn, emotional distress, poisoning, chest pain and heart attack. Its cardiac rehabilitation center offers treatment services for patients with coronary artery disease. With more than five operating suites and a Post-Anesthesia Care Unit, the hospital offers surgery services for breast, ophthalmology, thoracic, urologic, and ear, nose and throat. Alleghany Regional Hospital is an Accredited Chest Pain Center by the Society of Chest Pain Centers. It is located in Low Moor, Va.
