- Sports MedicineKnee orthosis are used to treat a wide range of diagnosis and conditions from preventing sports injuries to correcting severe deformities. A knee brace for osteoarthritis may help reduce pain by shifting your weight off the most damaged portion of your knee. This may improve your ability to get around and help increase the distance you can walk comfortably.
- Physical TherapyI like my brace, especially the part where John comes to Medilodge. My AFO helps me with my physical therapy when I have to stand and walk.

- Foot OrthoticsAfter having knee replacements I started having problems with my feet. I have been coming here for over two years now! I have worked with Melanie multiple times. She always adjusts my foot orthotics to make sure I am comfortable and makes sure I feel comfortable and better than when I walked in. She is very knowledgeable about this and recommended I seek additional help. If it wasn’t for her I wouldn’t have known that I needed a hip replacement.
- Plantar FasciitisI came in to see Darlene in the Livonia office after my doctor recommended a certain type of night splint to treat my plantar fasciitis. After wearing this splint for a few nights I realized this particular type of splint doesn’t work well with my foot shape. I came back in for adjustments and Darlene was very accommodative. She reached out to my physician to make sure they were ok with changing the type of splint and had great communication along the way. I left filled with content and will return if anything is needed. Hopefully, it won’t be.
