I went to Latin Tax Services and had my taxes made by Ana Morell in April 2017. It is late October 2017 and found it strange I never got my refund or any letter from the IRS to let me know if there was any issues. So I decided to call the IRS today. Long story short, it ends up being that the IRS never received my 2016 joint tax return from Latin Tax Services Electronically in which I paid $ 150.00 for. The IRS then told me that I would be penalized for applying this late if I would send my tax return again now!! While I was on the phone with the IRS, my husband decided to call Ana Morell at Latin Tax Services to find out what happend. She told my husband that during that time we filed the IRS rejected the electronic tax return because the pin # she had for my husband was incorrect. So my husband asked why hasn't she called us to let us know our tax was rejected during that time!!! All of these issues wouldn't be happening! She didn't answer his question and my husband gave her the pin numbers again today and she said she sent the tax return again today electronically. While all that conversation was happening, the IRS told me I won't receive any information until December 2017! Now this had me angry because of this HUGE STUPIDITY and irresponsibility of Mrs. Morell, my son will not be able to file for his FAFSA in order to go to the University this year because I need my 2016 tax return. So her mistake ruined my household situation at this time.She hung up the phone and i called her back and told her I wanted my refund of $150.00 and that she is going to have to pay the penalty that the IRS will charge me because of this mistake. She said she will send me a check but had the NERVE TO TELL ME THAT IT WAS MY RESPONSIBILITY TO CALL HER TO FOLLOW UP AND THAT IT WASN'T HER FAULT! I was so angry and told her that I paid $ 150 for her tax service and trusted her that my taxes was sent promptly and if she had any issues that the tax return was rejected she was supposed to call me!!! So I can give her the information she needed!!!! The IRS takes its time to review thousands or millions of tax returns so I thought it was taking longer than usual. Unfortunately, that was not the case!!! It was all her fault. If I didn't call the IRS today, my taxes would still be unfiled and my sons FAFSA would be in worse jeopardy than what it already is cause of her! I feel she is a SCAM and doesn't do a great job in the accounting field. I decided to go to her because of the great google reviews i read of her. But honestly, she is messing up people's lives and taxes because she doesn't seem to care --- I DO NOT RECOMMEND LATIN TAX SERVICES AND THIS BUSINESS SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN... BE CAREFUL IF YOU GO THERE AND DO YOUR RESEARCH!!!!!!
